Rightly said by Pablo, a painting explains itself if you drive your mind in understanding the story behind it. This is the case especially in contemporary or what you call abstract. They say that the golden age of abstraction is right now. Some of you may think that abstracts are just a scribble without a meaning. While some of you may agree with me that the works of M.F Hussain (Indian contemporary artist) were not really too precise nor too intricate. However, It was the ‘ideas’ that he came up with. One such example is Maqbool Fida Husain on the subject of Mother Teresa and an abandoned child.
